Special Waltham with original Waltham dial made for the Packard Motor Car Company
Case:
Polished Stainless Steel Convex sapphire crystal front, diamond coated glass display back. Water resistant to 50 mm.

Movement:
Waltham antique hunters case pocket watch movement. 15 jewels with gold jewel cups, bimetallic balance wheel, gold timing screws. Movement Manufactured in 1897.
Dial:
Special and rare, gold colored, original waltham dial, circa 1912, made for the Packard Motor Car Company, hometown Warren, Ohio. Packards were the first cars to feature steering wheels instead of tillers, and the first to use an H-pattern gearshift configuration; they became the standard of American luxury cars during the Roaring 20s and beyond with owners such as Clark Gable. Packard eventually merged with Studebaker, and the last Packard was built in 1958. The logo on the dial states:”Ask the man who owns one”.
