Waltham vintage 17 jewel Movement from 1928

case:
Steel case. Water Resistant to 50 meters (150 feet). The Speakeasy case is evocative of the Roaring 20’s in the USA. Art Deco was the design of the era, and is reflected in architecture (Empire State Building, Chrysler Building), art (Picasso), and fashion.  Case is numbered “No. 63” on side of case – there are only 150 of the Speakeasy cases produced – each watch will be unique.

Dimensions:
44mm wide, 13.5 mm thick, 56 mm end to end.

Movement:
17 Jewel, Waltham USA Movement. Manufactured in 1928 in Waltham, Massachusetts. Fancy “Star” regulator. Rose gold jewel cups, and rose gold balance screws.

Dial:
Antique “Crazy Cool” Art Deco waltham dial. gold finished Arabic Numbers, with an array of cross hatching designs. Blue Cathedral style hands with luminous, 2-tone seconds hand.
