Steel case. Water Resistant to 50 meters (150 feet). The Speakeasy case is evocative of the Roaring 20’s in the USA. Art Deco was the design of the era, and is reflected in architecture (Empire State Building, Chrysler Building), art (Picasso), and fashion. Numbered No 38

Waltham, 19 jewel, antique movement. Manufactured in Waltham, Massachusetts in 1927. Bi-metallic balance wheel, adjusted, fancy “Star” regulator. Special inlaid gold finish. Rare.

Dial:
Antique Art Deco “vanilla” dial with raised fancy gold Arabic numbers. Blued steel cathedral style antique hands. Antique blued steel seconds hand.
