Steel case. Water Resistant to 50 meters (150 feet). The Speakeasy case is evocative of the Roaring 20’s in the USA. Art Deco was the design of the era, and is reflected in architecture (Empire State Building, Chrysler Building), art (Picasso), and fashion. Limited edition Speakeasy with only 50 pieces using a modern movement. Each dial will be unique. This is numbered 23/50.

Movement:
Rpaige hallmarked, 17 Jeweled, HiTech hardened Aluminum movement,made in Germany– The hardened aluminum is used to produce all bridges and the plates of the movement.

The properties of aluminum include: low density and therefore low weight, high strength, superior malleability, easy machining, excellent corrosion resistance and good thermal and electrical conductivity.

The finished movement is a perfect weight and strength, free of tensions and temperature effects. When mixed in appropriate portions, with other metals, aluminium’s strength can equal that of steel, yet its weight is still only one-third of the weight of steel. This ultramodern hi-tech aluminum movement delivers perfect results in color and design aspects. This same aluminum we see in this movement is used in the aerospace programs for rocket materials, and widely used in the luxury car market.

Dial:
Antique Military Stopwatch dial. Great original Patina. Painted on metal with red and black Arabic numeral minute numbers. Modern “Dauphin” style blue enameled hands with luminous. Antique red and black seconds hand.
