17 Jewel antique Waltham USA pocket watch movement. Manufactured in 1908 in Waltham, Massachusetts. Bimetallic balance wheel. Fancy “Star” regulator.

Dial:
Antique Sterling silver “Florentined” dial with raised silver Arabic numbers, and gold finished set dial. Antique “Breguet” style black steel hands.

A Florentine finish is a textured surface decoration on metal composed of intersecting sets of parallel lines. A flat graver that cuts a series of lines is used for this technique. This technique creates tiny cross-hatch hand engraved lines across gold jewelry, and watches.
