Vintage Elgin USA movement from 1927

case:
Steel with Convex sapphire crystal front, diamond coated glass display back. Water Resistant to 50 meters (150 feet). Rpaige Logo crown. This is a one of a kind watch.

Dimensions:
44mm diameter, 14mm thick, 52 mm end to end. Water resistant to 50 meters.

Movement:
17 Jewel vintage Elgin USA pocket watch movement. Manufactured in Elgin, Illinois in 1927. Fancy regulator. Bi-metallic balance wheel.

Dial:
Custom made using a brass, keywind, movement plate from a fusee watch produced in 1860 in Europe. The plate contains the original genuine ruby jewels as well as the fast/slow regulator. The dial is cut open at the 3 o’clock position, allowing the wearer to observe the watch stem winding system activate in winding and setting position. Also, there is opening on the dial which allows the wearer to observe the motion of the pallet fork as it swings each second. The Rpaige chapter ring is black and gold in color with arabic numbers. Blue enameled block form hands with luminous and red enamel tips.
