New! 41mm Steel case. Water Resistant to 50 meters (150 feet). The Speakeasy case is evocative of the Roaring 20’s in the USA. Art Deco was the design of the era, and is reflected in architecture (Empire State Building, Chrysler Building), art (Picasso), and fashion. This Limited edition Speakeasy will have only 100 watches in the edition. This is number #4 in the edition.

41mm wide, 11 mm thick, 48 mm end to end.

Movement:
17 jewel, New, Swiss Elabore grade Unitas/ETA movement, 6498, with Geneva Stripes finish. Blued steel screws. Blue faceted stone crown.

Dial:
Vintage “Bauhaus” dial from the 1950’s. Chrome plated metal. Etched with a geometric design. Bauhaus geometric colors in Red, Yellow, and Blue. Raised Rose-gold colored Arabic numbers at 6,7, 8 and 12. The hands are Dauphin style beveled, with blue ION plating with luminous.

Bauhaus, was a German art school operational from 1919 to 1933 that combined crafts and the fine arts.
Key tenets of Bauhaus design include form follows function and less is more. The style is characterized by a lack of ornament and a focus on clean lines that reduce forms to their essential elements. Bauhaus design, art, and architecture often features simple geometric forms such as circles, squares, and triangles
