 The Speakeasy case is evocative of the Roaring 20's in the USA.  Art Deco was the design of the era, and is reflected in architecture (Empire State Building, Chrysler Building), art (Picasso), and fashion. Numbered on side of case: No17.  Water Resistant to 50 meters (150 feet).

Dimensions:
44mm wide, 13.5 mm thick, 56 mm end to end.

Movement:
15 jewel Elgin USA movement. Manufactured in Elgin, Illinois in 1923. Bimetallic balance wheel. 18,000 BPH. Fancy Regulator.

Dial:
Interesting dial made from an Austrian 5 Corona Silver Coin, minted in 1904. Skeleton rim dial, Roman numerals – black/silver/copper/gold color. Blued steel antique hands.
