Fantastic 21 Jewel movement from 1921

case:
Hand made prototype steel case. Water Resistant to 50 meters (150 feet). The Speakeasy case is evocative of the Roaring 20's in the USA. Art Deco was the design of the era, and is reflected in architecture (Empire State Building, Chrysler Building), art (Picasso), and fashion. Numbered on side of case: No3

Dimensions:
44mm wide, 13.5 mm thick, 56 mm end to end.

Movement:
The first 10 (numbered on side of case) in the edition of 150  will all have rare antique or vintage American pocket watch movements.

This exemplary example from the Illinois watch Company, based in Springfield, Illinois in the early 1900's, is a high grade 21 jewel “Central” movement, adjusted to 3 positions.  Beautifully “damaskeen”.  Fantastic gold plated screws and  swan neck regulator. Rose gold train wheels.

Dial:
Outstanding original dial  from 1921, gold colored with center design hand engraved and gold plated. Fancy large Arabic raised numbers. Original blued steel  “Breguet” style hands.
