Elgin Movement from 1915 with Swiss engraved  silvered dial

Case:
Polished Stainless Steel Convex sapphire crystal front, diamond coated glass display back. Water resistant to 50 meters.

44mm diameter, 14mm thick, 52 mm end to end

Movement:
15  jewel Elgin antique American pocket watch hunters case movement. Manufactured in 1910. Bimetallic balance wheel, gold jewel cups. Original gold finished screws, and case screws.

Dial:
Swiss engraved and silvered dial, circa 1905, with red  railroad minute markers. These rare dials were made for the American market by Swiss pocket watch manufacturers to try and capture the  success of the Military/railroad style American pocket watches. The name on the dial is “Trans Pacific” which uses an American Railroad Company name. Great engraving and numbering. The dial shows it's age, which I find more attractive than if it was new looking.
